ersg is working with a Renewable Energy business to support them in their search for a Grid Manager. This role will see you oversee their Grid Connection process across the UK and overseas (local talent will manage the relationship with DNOs etc.).

Core Responsibilities

  • Managing the interconnection process throughout the project development lifecycle (through to operations).
  • Ensuring the delivery of projects in accordance with local grid standards and code.
  • Supporting the development and delivery team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Budgetary control.
  • Working with third-party contractors to ensure construction and commissioning of projects.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to manage all internal and external stakeholders (Head of Delivery, Project Managers, Subcontractors (EPC, BoP), TSOs, DNOs etc.).
  • Applicants MUST possess a degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • You MUST also have the Right to Work in the United Kingdom.

Compensation

Salary is dependent upon experience but includes a good bonus scheme, and a strong pension plan.
