Statkraft Energy Ltd is the Operations & Maintenance side of Statkraft within the UK. The Technical department operates across the whole of the UK, is responsible for all UK High Voltage Assets, Grid Services Sites, providing assistance in all technical aspects of daily operations and projects
Job Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Grid Services Engineer - O&M, with the role open to candidates based anywhere in the UK. This position requires regular travel to multiple operational sites across the country. When site attendance is not required, the successful candidate will work remotely from home or from one of Statkraft’s UK office locations
Job Description
- Work on maintenance aspects of our electricity switchgear and plant up to and including 400kV (training and development will be on offer to get you Authorised up to 400kV)
- SAP training and development
- Investigate alarms from the system and provide fault response
- Support with the delivery of projects
- Follow up on execution of planned and corrective maintenance tasks
- Supervise engineering work onsite
- Assess the technical requirements for ongoing projects

Qualifications
- HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant experience from within the energy sector
- Demonstrable experience of working on the electrical network, ideally dealing with LV and HV plant maintenance
- Previous SAP Authorisation would be advantageous.
- A good understanding of O&M works processes
- Have a high standard of HSE awareness
- Knowledgeable in:
- Power generation
- HV networks
- Electrical Testing/Analysis
- Commissioning
- MS Office Applications
The position will require extensive travel within the UK and sometimes abroad. Applicants will need the right permit to work in the UK as well as a clean driving licence.
