GMV is an experienced technology group and a leader in satellite control centers in the telecommunications sector. We are looking for a Project Engineer to set up its ground segment systems for clients in the UK.

What Challenge Will You Be Taking On?

The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment, integration, testing, and maintenance of control center software products and ground segment solutions developed by GMV. This includes:

  • Preparing technical documentation and project deliverables for customers
  • Supporting system verification and validation activities
  • Coordinating software installations and upgrades both at GMV facilities and at client sites

  • System Engineer (preferably from telecommunications, but also from software or aeronautics), interested in the Space domain or critical systems
  • Interest in the Space sector and willingness to learn the specifics of mission-critical systems. Practical, methodical, and detailed-oriented
  • Basic programming knowledge to support the team with scripting or configuration tasks
  • Good communication skills and attention to operational detail
  • Analytical mind
  • Capable of understanding and potentially defining an end-to-end solution based on subsystems

You'll be even more successful in this role, if you can bring knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • Experience in operational environments, system validation, or similar roles
  • Spanish

Due to the nature of the projects, only UK national candidates that can obtain UK security clearance SC (UK eyes only) can be considered for this role.
