Job Overview
Join our client's team as a Ground Worker/Labourer and be a vital part of gardening site development projects! In this energetic role, you'll assist with a variety of groundwork tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality on-site. Your proactive attitude and willingness to learn will help keep projects moving forward smoothly. Duties
- Assist with site preparation activities such as clearing, leveling, and excavating ground areas
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools and materials promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by disposing of debris and waste appropriately
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Help with setting up barriers, signage, and safety measures around the site
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning

- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
- Prior experience in construction or manual labour is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- CSCS card holder would be advantageous but not essential.
Working hours
Monday to Friday 07.00-4.30pm (45 minute un-paid break)
