Grounds & Landscaping

• Directing landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, weed control, and site enhancement projects.
• Supervising pitch preparations to ensure holiday homes and grounds are pristine for guest arrivals.
• Managing waste management, recycling, and site cleanliness operations across the park.

Guest Experience & Support

• Engaging with guests and holiday homeowners in a friendly, professional manner to resolve queries and complaints effectively.
• Assisting management with operational planning, contractor oversight, and emergency cover as required.

Skills Required

• Strong leadership, team management, and organizational abilities.
• Comprehensive practical knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical systems, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Proven experience in hot tub water chemistry, balancing, sanitization, and technical maintenance.
• Direct knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to leisure water facilities (e.g., HSG282).
• Practical expertise in landscaping, grounds upkeep, and the safe operation of power tools and commercial machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive initiative, and high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with team members, management, and park guests.
• Proficient IT skills for logging job tickets, updating compliance software, and managing digital schedules.
• Physical capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle physical tasks.

Qualifications / Experience

Essential

• Proven experience in a supervisory or senior role within maintenance, groundskeeping, or holiday park operations.
• Hands-on practical maintenance and landscaping experience.

Desirable

• Relevant trade qualification (Plumbing, Electrical, or Joinery)
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• Full, clean UK Driving License.

Health and Safety

• Act as a safety champion, driving and enforcing a positive safety culture across the maintenance and grounds team.
• Ensure strict adherence to company Health & Safety policies, Risk Assessments, and COSHH regulations (specifically regarding hot tub chemicals and fuel handling).
• Ensure all team members consistently wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain thorough, audit-ready health, safety, and water testing compliance logs.
• Promptly investigate and report all accidents, incidents, hazards, and near-misses to management.
• Ensure all workshops, tool stores, and work sites are maintained in a clean, safe, and secure state.
