ISQ Recruitment is working with a public services organisation in Norwich that is looking to recruit Grounds Operative on a temporary ongoing basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role for the right candidate.
In this role, you will help support the maintenance of parks, green spaces and public areas to a high standard throughout the year. Your work will play an important part in creating safe, attractive and welcoming environments for local communities to enjoy. Working as part of a wider operational team, you will carry out a range of grounds maintenance and landscaping duties, helping to ensure public spaces remain clean, well-maintained and presentable.

Key Duties
- Operating pedestrian and ride-on mowers
- Stripping and hedge cutting
- Knapsack spraying
- Litter picking
- Hoeing, sweeping and pruning
- Carrying out daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Completing relevant paperwork
- Training to drive company vehicles within licence entitlement (where required)
About You
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Experience working in a physically demanding role
- Confident using gardening or grounds maintenance equipment
- Good awareness of health and safety
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Professional approach when working with colleagues and members of the public
