Domestic Couple (Groundsman & Housekeeper/Cook) Surrey

A warm and welcoming family based in Surrey is seeking an experienced domestic couple who love children and animals to work alongside existing staff. This is a long-term, live-in position for a discreet, hardworking, and upbeat couple who enjoy working as part of a team.
Housekeeper / Cook
Working alongside the House Manager, responsibilities include:
- High-standard housekeeping throughout the family home
- Laundry, ironing, wardrobe and linen care
- Care of fine furnishings and household contents
- Preparing healthy family breakfasts, lunches and suppers
- Menu planning, shopping and kitchen organisation
- Preparing the house for guests and entertaining
- Assisting with household pets and the smooth running of the home

Groundsman
Responsibilities include:
- Daily care of horses, alpacas, chickens, peacocks, sheep, dogs and other animals
- Dog walking and maintenance of paddocks and shelters
- Estate maintenance, fencing, repairs and handyman duties
- Grounds maintenance including mowing and seasonal clearance
- Care of vehicles, machinery and equipment
- Monitoring estate security and infrastructure
- Liaising with contractors and caring for the estate during family absences

Requirements
- Strong team players essential with a flexible and positive attitude
- Discretion and reliability are essential
- Two drivers required
Accommodation
- Self-contained cottage provided
- Pets welcome but regret not suitable for dependents
Working Hours
Approximately 40 hours per week, with flexibility
Preference for working Saturdays with a weekday off in lieu
