Social Housing Reactive Maintenance
South East London (Wandsworth, Croydon, Merton, Bromley, Lambeth & Southwark)
£50,000 per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card
Permanent Position
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a well-established social housing contractor covering the South East London area.
This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled Groundworker with experience carrying out repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties.
The role offers a varied workload across reactive and planned maintenance, undertaking a range of external repairs and groundworks to residential properties and communal areas.

- Carrying out a variety of groundworks and external repairs
- Fencing repairs and replacements
- Paving, slab laying and pathway repairs
- Concrete repairs and reinstatement works
- Drainage repairs and maintenance
- Brickwork and minor masonry repairs
- Working on both occupied and void social housing properties
- Accurately updating jobs and completing reports using a PDA system
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundworker within the social housing, maintenance or construction sector
- Experience working in occupied and void properties
- Strong knowledge of fencing, paving, drainage and general external maintenance works
- Previous experience using a PDA or handheld device to manage workloads
- Full UK Driving Licence, no more than 3 points
- Willingness to undertake a DBS check - with no unspent criminal convictions

Package:
- £50,000 per annum
- Company Van & Fuel Card
- Permanent, full-time position
- Overtime and call out available, payable on top of basic salary
