Job Opportunity: Groundworker in Eastleigh

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Groundworker to join a Brand New Project in Eastleigh on Monday.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be working on a variety of construction and ground investigation projects, supporting the site team to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out a range of groundworks activities, including digging trial holes and trial pits, site set-up and preparation, and assisting with the trialling and testing of areas of land in accordance with project requirements.
  • Working from site drawings and following instructions provided by the site management team, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and within programme.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping on site.
  • Using tools and equipment safely and correctly.
  • Assisting with any other general site duties as required.
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures, wearing the appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Contributing to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.

  • Valid CSCS Card.
  • Previous experience working as a Groundworker or within a similar construction environment.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to undertake a variety of site tasks and follow changing project requirements.
