Groundworker (Plymouth) – Fulltime

An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.
PAYE basis
Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)
Must Have
- Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card
- Level 2 NVQ Construction & Civil Engineering Operations (Groundworks) or Level 2 NVQ in Groundworks
- Must have logistics/plant operative experience
- Blue CPCS Card desirable
- Safety Critical Medical preferred
- Previous experience working on major construction or infrastructure projects
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and proactive approach to work
- Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
- Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years

This role is site based - Monday to Friday
45 hours per week 07:30am - 17:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general groundworks duties across the project
- Assist with excavation, drainage, concrete and other groundwork activities
- Support logistics and plant operations as required
- Work safely around plant, machinery and other site activities
- Read and work from drawings and site instructions
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of work areas
- Work closely with supervisors, engineers and other site teams
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area
- Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
- Support the successful delivery of major MOD infrastructure works
