Groundworks Supervisor
Location:
Great Grid Partnership (C4178 EDEU)
Rate
£21.90 - £24.40 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision of groundworks operations on site, ensuring all works are executed safely and in accordance with the project programme.
- Coordinate and manage operatives and subcontractors across multiple work fronts.
- Oversee drainage, excavation, concreting and finishing operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to company and client health and safety requirements and procedures.
- Maintain accurate site records and prepare required reports in a timely manner.
- Liaise effectively with Site Management and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor and report on productivity levels and quality standards.
- Conduct and deliver toolbox talks and site briefings as required.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of labour, plant and materials.

Essential Experience And Skills
- SSSTS qualification (Essential)
- Valid CSCS Card
- Demonstrable previous experience in a Groundworks Supervisory capacity
- Proven leadership and communication capabilities
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety requirements and legislation
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate site teams effectively
- Experience on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects is highly desirable
