Location
Stansted Airport
We are currently recruiting experienced Groundworkers / Drainlayers to join a major infrastructure project based at Stansted Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly skilled team delivering large-scale, high-profile works.
The Role
As a Groundworker / Drainlayer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality drainage and groundwork operations, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of drainage systems including clay, plastic, and concrete pipework
- Construction of manholes, chambers, and associated structures
- Carrying out trenching, benching, and concreting works
- Working from drawings and laser levels to set out accurate levels and gradients
- Ensuring correct alignment of pipelines
- Collaborating with machine operators and site teams
- Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times

Requirements
- CSCS Skilled Worker (Blue Card) – essential
- Proven experience in groundworks or drainage
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong understanding of site health & safety
- Reliable and team-oriented approach
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- CPCS / NPORS tickets (Dumper, Roller, Excavator)
- Confined Spaces training
- Previous drainage or pipelaying experience
