40 hours per week; Permanent

Monday - Friday; 8am - 4:30pm

A full UK driving licence is required.

About the Role

We're seeking a hardworking and safety-conscious Labourer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Groundworker/Labourer, you will:

  • Support operatives with groundwork, fencing, general labouring duties, and the completion of repair and maintenance work.
  • Work independently and proactively to minimise repeat visits by ensuring repairs are completed correctly the first time wherever possible.
  • Assist with coordinating and arranging the delivery of materials and products required to complete works efficiently.
  • Undertake additional duties across the Delivery Team, including void property works and planned maintenance projects, as required.
  • Maintain lock-ups and storage yards on a weekly basis, following instructions and schedules provided.
  • Participate in Orwell's on-call rota, responding to emergency repair requests outside of normal working hours as required.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • 4 GCSEs A-C or equivalent including English and Maths.
  • Experience of working with hand, power and machine tools, plant and equipment is desirable.
  • Property maintenance experience is desirable.
  • Experience of hard landscaping is desirable.
