The Role
We are looking for an experienced Groundworks Foreman to manage day-to-day site operations on a busy project in Kent.
You will be responsible for supervising groundworks teams, coordinating labour, plant and materials, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on programme and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate groundworks teams
- Manage daily site activities and programme requirements
- Organise labour, plant, materials and resources
- Oversee drainage, foundations, concrete and external works
- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Monitor quality and site progress
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained
- Complete site paperwork and progress reports
- Liaise with site management, clients and office teams

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman
- Strong knowledge of groundworks and civil engineering
- Experience with drainage, foundations, concrete works, external works and infrastructure
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Relevant CSCS Card
- Good IT and site reporting skills
- SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid desirable
