We are currently recruiting a Groundworks Gang for a long-term commercial project at a barracks in Portsmouth.
- Start Date: Monday
- Duration: Long-Term Work
- Hours: 9.5 Hours Paid Per Day
- Pay: Attractive Hourly Rates (Dependent on Role & Experience)
We are looking for the following:
- 360 Excavator Operator
- Groundworker
- Dumper Driver
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established project offering long-term work, consistent hours, and competitive rates. This is a commercial project not housing.

Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS card for plant operators
- Valid CSCS Card for Groundworkers
- Full PPE
- Previous experience working on commercial construction or civil engineering projects
- Strong understanding of site health and safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
General Duties:
- Carrying out all aspects of groundworks on a commercial construction project
- Operating plant safely and efficiently (360 Excavator/Dumper)
- Excavation, drainage, ducting, and trenching
- Assisting with foundations, kerbing, and concrete works
- Loading and moving materials around site
- Working closely with site management and other trades
- Completing daily checks on plant and reporting any defects
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- As well as all other tasks
