We are looking for an experienced Groundworks Project Manager / Supervisor to join a construction company on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing two or more groundworks projects across London, ensuring that works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise multiple groundworks projects simultaneously.
- Visit sites regularly and monitor progress, quality and productivity.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors and plant.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programmes.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, quantity surveyors and other contractors.
- Monitor labour, materials and plant requirements.
- Identify and resolve site issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety requirements.
- Complete site reports, progress updates and relevant paperwork.
- Assist with planning and programming upcoming works.
- Monitor project costs and minimise unnecessary expenditure.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience in groundworks and civil engineering.
- Previous experience managing or supervising multiple sites/projects.
- Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, concrete, utilities, roads, slabs and associated groundworks.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
- SMSTS/SSSTS and relevant site qualifications preferred.
- CSCS card and relevant groundworks experience required.

The Role
- Permanent, full-time position
- Projects located across London and South-East
- Responsibility for 2 or more sites
- Competitive salary depending on experience
