Group Accountant – £40,000 | London | Hybrid

I'm working with a growing, international environmental and sustainability consultancy looking to appoint a Part-Qualified Group Accountant to its London-based Group Finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a broader Group Finance role within an international, PE-backed business, gaining exposure across month-end, intercompany accounting, group reporting, cash/liquidity and finance improvement projects.
You'll work closely with senior members of Group Finance in a business continuing to grow and evolve internationally.

The role will include:
- Month-end accounting for Group corporate entities
- Intercompany accounting, recharges and reconciliations
- Balance settlement across Group entities
- Variance analysis against budget
- Debt interest and equity accounting
- Supporting lender reporting and annual audit
- Improving intercompany controls and finance processes
- Supporting wider Group Finance projects and initiatives
The underlying role also works closely with the Group Consolidation and Financial Reporting teams, giving the successful candidate useful exposure beyond the day-to-day accounting.
What we're looking for:
- Part-qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent
- Good hands-on month-end accounting experience
- Exposure to an international, multi-entity and multi-currency environment
- Strong intercompany/reconciliation experience
- Confident Excel skills
- Proactive, hands-on approach and strong communication skills
- TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics exposure would be advantageous
- Cash, liquidity or treasury exposure would also be useful
