Senior Group Accountant
Location: Surrey (Hybrid Working - 3 days office / 2 days home)
Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits (depending on experience)

I'm supporting a fast-growing and highly successful FMCG business with market-leading brands and a strong presence across the UK and international markets. Operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, we are seeking a technically strong Group Accountant to join the Group Finance team.
The Role
The Senior Group Accountant will be responsible for supporting the delivery of accurate and timely group reporting, statutory compliance, financial controls, and consolidation activities across multiple entities. The role will work closely with finance teams across the business and partner with senior stakeholders to ensure finance supports strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly group consolidation process across multiple entities.
- Prepare consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
- Ensure reporting is completed accurately and in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
- Support the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
- Liaise with external auditors and manage audit requests.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with corporation tax, VAT, and other compliance obligations.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure actions are completed promptly.

Candidate Profile
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent
- Practice-trained with some industry experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS.
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements.
- Experience working within a multi-entity environment.
- Exposure to audit processes and statutory reporting.
