Group Accountant
This is a fixed 3-month contract. However, for the right person this could go permanent.
London – Kings Cross (Hybrid)
Hours – 9am to 5pm
Salary – Competitive per hourly rate
Are you a technically strong accountant looking for a role where you can make a real impact?
I am working with a fast-growing international travel business undergoing an exciting period of transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team, gain exposure to senior stakeholders and play a key role in group reporting, financial control and business improvement initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you'll be involved in consolidated reporting, IFRS compliance, statutory accounts and strengthening financial controls across a complex multinational organisation.

- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reporting.
- Assist with statutory and regulatory reporting in line with IFRS.
- Contribute to the production of board and management reporting packs.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Support the delivery of annual financial statements and disclosures.
- Work closely with auditors and coordinate information requests.
- Prepare technical accounting papers and accounting position memos.
- Maintain and strengthen financial controls across the group.
- Support tax and transfer pricing activities where required.
- Drive process improvements and support finance transformation initiatives.
About You
We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong technical accounting expertise and excellent attention to detail.
You will ideally have:
- Experience in group reporting, consolidations and statutory accounts
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Previous audit and compliance experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- The ability to communicate complex financial information to a range of stakeholders
- Experience working within a multinational or complex group structure
- Experience in maritime, expedition, or cruise industry beneficial
