Role: Group Accountant

Location: Droitwich

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000

About the Business

A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, international services business as a Group Accountant, based in Droitwich. The business has built a strong reputation for its culture and entrepreneurial spirit, and this role offers genuine exposure to the Board and to finance teams across the globe, giving you real input into the commercial and strategic direction of the group.

Main Duties

As a Group Accountant, your main duties include:

  • Bringing together financial results from UK and overseas divisions into the group consolidation
  • Compiling monthly and statutory reporting for a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership and banking contacts
  • Working in close partnership with Finance Directors and finance teams across the international group
  • Providing the Board with insight and analysis to inform major commercial and strategic decisions, including M&A and funding activity
  • Helping to continuously develop and refine group reporting systems alongside external IT providers
  • Liaising with external advisors on broader financial reporting projects
  • Supporting newly acquired businesses as they integrate into group finance processes
  • Overseeing head office accounts

Location / Office / Culture

Based in Droitwich, this role sits within a tight-knit finance team of around ten, right at the centre of the group’s head office. The business is entrepreneurial and growing quickly, offering flexible working, a genuinely supportive team, and plenty of pace, variety, and exposure to senior stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified – essential
  • Technical experience of accounting frameworks such as IFRS and FRS – essential
  • Background in either practice or industry – candidates moving from practice for the first time are welcome to apply
  • Experience with statutory accounts and consolidation is desirable but not essential
  • A pragmatic, team-focused approach, with a genuine commitment to supporting the wider team’s goals
