Group Accountant | 6 Months | Central London | Hybrid (3 days in office)

We're partnering with a high-growth international group in the media space that is looking to bring in a qualified accountant on an initial 6-month contract. This is a hands-on role with broad exposure across multiple businesses within the group, making it ideal for someone who enjoys operating as a true finance generalist.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ownership of month-end close and management reporting
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • P&L ownership and balance sheet control
  • Intercompany accounting and group reporting
  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders across the group
  • Audit liaison and statutory reporting support
  • Supporting finance transformation and systems improvement projects

Who you are:

  • Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, or equivalent)
  • Strong grounding in audit before moving into industry
  • Experience across month-end, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Exposure to group or multi-entity environments
  • A proactive, personable, and commercially-minded approach
  • Someone who enjoys building relationships and supporting operational businesses
