As we continue to grow across our group we are looking to grow our accounts function. As part of this growth we are looking to appoint an experienced, qualified Group Accountant to lead financial reporting and support strategic decision making.
What you will be doing:
- Working closely with the Group Finance Director in the preparation and consolidation of financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, conducting cyclical audits and the preparation of business line and department budgets and financial forecasts.
- Providing financial insights to the executive leadership team, and will identify cost elimination opportunities and improvements in financial systems and reporting processes.

As we operate across multiple business lines, in multiple jurisdictions, there are a range of reporting standards and regulations to comply with, as well as the usual IFRS and GAAP standards, different jurisdiction also have specific additional localised reporting requirements, so this will draw on all of your strong business acumen, analytics and organisational skills.
Qualifications
- You should be ACCA qualified with experience of working in a fast moving financial or professional services organisation, where you have led a small team to drive reporting and business efficiencies.
- You are able to demonstrate strong technical accounting skills, especially in a multi functional, multi jurisdiction business.
- You have a comprehensive knowledge of a range of accounts and analytics platforms, such as Sage, Dynamics, PowerBI or Tableau.
- You are able to effectively analyse complex financial data, providing advice and guidance to all levels of the business.
