Group Aftersales Manager
NEWLY CREATED POSITION
Location: Yorkshire & Surrounding Areas (Field Based Across Group Sites)
Salary: Competitive Package + Company Car + Benefits
Help Shape the Future of Aftersales at D. M. Keith
At D. M. Keith, our aftersales operation continues to go from strength to strength. As a result of sustained growth, increasing manufacturer representation, and our continued commitment to investing in our people and customer experience, we are seeking to appoint an additional Group Aftersales Manager to join our senior leadership team.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
We are not replacing an existing position. We are creating an additional Group Aftersales Manager role because our aftersales business has grown to the point where we want to provide even greater support to our dealership teams and customers.
Working alongside our existing Group Aftersales Manager and the Group Aftersales Director, this newly created position represents a significant investment in the future of our aftersales operation.
The purpose of the role is simple: to provide additional leadership, coaching, and operational support to our dealership teams, helping drive consistency, share best practice, improve performance, and ultimately deliver an outstanding customer experience across every D. M. Keith location.
If you are passionate about developing people, driving operational excellence, and helping teams perform at their very best, this is a rare opportunity to make a genuine impact within one of the UK's most successful family-owned automotive groups.
Why We've Created This Role
The continuing growth and success of our aftersales business has created the opportunity to further strengthen our leadership structure.
We are not replacing someone. We are investing in an additional Group Aftersales Manager because we recognise that great teams require great support.
Rather than increasing central administration, we have chosen to invest directly in operational leadership, creating a second Group Aftersales Manager position to work alongside our existing leadership team.
This additional role will enable us to:
- Provide greater support to our Aftersales Managers, Service Managers, and Parts Managers.
- Increase the frequency and quality of on-site coaching, development, and operational reviews.
- Share best practice more effectively across the Group.
- Improve consistency in customer experience across all locations.
- Accelerate performance improvement initiatives.
- Support future growth plans and manufacturer requirements.
- Strengthen succession planning and leadership development across our Aftersales teams.
This role has been created because we believe that investing in our people is the most effective way to continue improving the experience we deliver to our customers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
