Group Application Development Manager
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a household name - a multi-brand business with a strong customer focus, to appoint a Group Application Development Manager.
This is a chance to lead the software development function at the heart of a large, well-invested group. You'll head up a talented in-house team, act as the main link between the business and technology, and shape how software gets delivered across the Group. The role carries real influence: you'll set priorities, improve ways of working and help shape the wider Application Development & Test strategy.

- Leading, coaching and developing the Group Software Development team
- Delivering the Application Development & Test roadmap, including projects, enhancements, fixes and BAU work
- Managing demand, priorities and stakeholder relationships across the Group
- Running backlogs, sprints, capacity and resource planning
- Simplifying processes, standardising ways of working and lifting team efficiency
- Making sure development standards meet best practice, security and governance requirements
- Setting KPIs and reporting on delivery, capacity and risk
- Managing third-party suppliers and service delivery
What you'll bring
- 3 to 5 years' experience leading software development or IT teams, ideally in retail or another fast-paced consumer business
- A strong grasp of software delivery, workflow management and balancing competing priorities
- Experience managing budgets, resources and supplier relationships
- Confident stakeholder management at all levels
- A track record of continuous improvement and developing people
