Help shape the future of public sector procurement and its impact on communities across England, Scotland and Wales
For more than 60 years, LHC Procurement Group has helped public sector organisations deliver better homes, buildings and infrastructure through high-quality procurement solutions. Today, as a Gold Standard accredited, not-for-profit organisation operating across England, Scotland and Wales, we work with local authorities, housing associations and other public bodies to create lasting social value and positive outcomes for communities.
Procurement has a profound influence on the places in which people live, work and learn. Every year, public investment delivered through procurement shapes housing, community facilities, schools, healthcare environments and infrastructure across England, Scotland and Wales. At its best, procurement is about far more than compliance or commercial transactions. It is a powerful enabler of social value, sustainability, innovation and economic opportunity.
As we enter the next phase of our development, we are seeking an exceptional individual to become our next Group Chief Executive Officer. This is a rare opportunity to lead a respected national organisation with a clear social purpose, strong foundations and a bold ambition to continue shaping the future of public sector procurement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
