Role Description

The Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all financial operations across Express Turbo Delivery’s business units. The CFO will lead financial planning and budgeting, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintain robust internal controls and compliance with relevant regulations. This role will supervise the preparation and analysis of financial statements, evaluate business performance, and provide strategic financial guidance to support growth, profitability, and cash-flow stability. The CFO will collaborate with executive leadership on investments, pricing, and cost-optimization strategies, manage relationships with banks, auditors, and key financial partners, and implement systems and processes that strengthen financial transparency and efficiency. The position also involves mentoring finance teams, setting performance standards, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

  • Strong foundation in Finance, with practical experience in corporate or group-level financial leadership.
  • Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasting, scenario analysis, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Hands-on experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of management and statutory reports.
  • Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess business performance, manage risk, and support high-impact decisions.
  • Proven experience in logistics, e-commerce, or related industries is highly beneficial.
  • Advanced skills in financial systems, ERP tools, and spreadsheet modeling.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage distributed teams, and communicate clearly with executive stakeholders.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, CPA, or an equivalent, or a relevant master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • Demonstrated integrity, resilience, and commitment to building strong financial governance and high-performance teams.
