Company Overview
Finatal is retained by a high-growth, Private Equity-backed professional/financial services platform headquartered in Luxembourg. The business provides a range of corporate, fiduciary and fund-related services to a diversified international client base and has built a strong reputation within its sector.
The company currently generates c.€80m revenue, delivers industry-leading profitability, and has ambitious plans to scale significantly through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. After completing multiple acquisitions and expanding internationally, the business is now entering the next phase of its value-creation journey ahead of a targeted exit in 2029.
As the company continues its rapid growth, we are seeking an experienced, commercially focused Group CFO to partner with the CEO, professionalise the finance function, and lead the value-creation plan.
The Role
As Group CFO, you will be the CEO's closest financial partner, responsible for leading finance, reporting, planning, controls, systems, and business performance across a growing international organisation.
This is a highly visible role, requiring a balance of strategic thinking and operational execution. The successful candidate will lead finance transformation, improve transparency across the business, enhance commercial decision-making, and help build a scalable platform capable of supporting significant future growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
