Group Consolidation Accountant £40,000–£45,000 + Benefits | London | Hybrid

I'm working with a growing international consultancy looking to appoint a Group Consolidation Accountant into its London-based Group Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Part-Qualified / Finalist Accountant looking to take the next step in their career and build deeper technical experience across Group consolidation, statutory reporting, intercompany accounting, acquisitions and financial reporting.

Working closely with the Group Consolidation Manager and Group Financial Controller, you'll be joining a collaborative Group Finance function within an international, PE-backed business operating across multiple entities, currencies and regions.

For someone looking to move into a broader and more technically focused Group Finance position, there is plenty of opportunity to learn, develop and gain exposure to senior finance stakeholders.

The Role

You'll support the Group Consolidation Manager across the Group's monthly and annual reporting requirements, with responsibilities including:

  • Supporting the preparation of the monthly Group consolidation for statutory accounting purposes
  • Maintaining and reviewing the Group's intercompany balances and intercompany matrix
  • Ensuring intercompany balances are accurately reconciled and eliminated at Group level
  • Liaising with regional Finance teams to investigate and resolve intercompany differences
  • Supporting the resolution of historic intercompany accounting issues
  • Reviewing intercompany loans and associated interest
  • Supporting the annual statutory audit
  • Exposure to acquisition accounting
  • Assisting with technical accounting papers and year-end adjustments
  • Exposure to accounting areas including IFRS 2, IFRS 9 and IFRS 16
  • Supporting quarterly and annual compliance reporting
  • Assisting with lender reporting
  • Supporting continuous improvement across Group Finance processes and controls
  • Getting involved in wider Group Finance projects and initiatives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
