Job Description
Role Summary
DALSA/e2v Group is part of the Digital Imaging segment of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. Digital Imaging is the largest segment within the Corporation.
Our finance function plays a critical role in supporting innovation through strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and robust internal controls across our global businesses.
This role is based in Chelmsford, but covers the full Dalsa/e2v Group, located across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions.
The Group Consolidation Manager leads the Shared Services Group Accounting function, responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial accounting and reporting across multiple legal entities. The role supports month‑end close, statutory and tax reporting, intercompany accounting, consolidation activities, and audit processes, while ensuring strong internal controls and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead group consolidation activities across multiple legal entities, business units and regions.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual DALSA/e2v close and reporting cycles, ensuring adherence to the Corporate timetable and the robustness of the consolidated accounts.
- Oversee intercompany accounting. Drive process improvement and strengthened business unit ownership.
- Drive balance sheet integrity, through the monthly reconciliation process and regular entity reviews with local Finance teams.
- Support statutory, tax, audit, and compliance processes (including SOX, documentation standards, and accounting policies), acting as a key point of contact for group accounting queries.
- Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and consistency of the SAP General ledger infrastructure, acting as the Subject Matter Expert for SAP developments and new Business Unit integrations.
- Liaise with finance leaders across business units, shared services, tax, treasury and corporate to ensure effective, coordinated and robust processes are maintained and enhanced
- Develop Group Consolidation team capability, by providing guidance, review, and coaching

Skills and Experience
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong experience within a Shared Services, group accounting, or multinational environment preferred.
- Solid understanding of intercompany accounting, consolidation, US GAAP, and statutory compliance.
- Experience working with SAP and group consolidation systems an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead month‑end processes, manage audits, and operate within a SOX‑controlled environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills with a proactive approach to process improvement.
