Group Consolidation Manager

Location: London, Oil & Gas

The Company

A growing organisation operating across a diverse portfolio of energy, infrastructure and trading-related activities. With operations across multiple jurisdictions, the group is continuing to invest in both traditional and emerging energy markets. Due to continued growth and evolving reporting requirements, they are seeking a Group Consolidation Manager to join their London based Finance team.

Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the group consolidation and external reporting process, ensuring the delivery of high quality financial information to senior stakeholders and external parties.

  • Preparing quarterly consolidated financial statements under IFRS
  • Producing annual consolidated financial statements and statutory accounts for multiple legal entities
  • Managing the group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments
  • Preparing financial reporting packs, variance analysis and commentary for management and external stakeholders
  • Supporting lender and debt reporting requirements
  • Managing external audit processes and ensuring financial information is audit-ready
  • Providing technical accounting support on complex transactions
  • Driving improvements across reporting processes, controls and systems
  • Supporting and developing a small finance team

What You Need

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience within Group Reporting, Financial Reporting or Consolidation roles
  • Proven IFRS reporting experience, including financial statements and disclosures
  • Experience of quarterly reporting cycles and high yield bond exposure
  • Exposure to external stakeholder reporting
  • Experience supporting external audits and technical accounting matters
  • Oil & Gas exposure is advantageous but not essential to apply
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders across the business
