Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Group Digital Content Assistant to support the production and management of engaging digital content across Procure Smart and Spennymoor Town FC (STFC).

The successful candidate will help capture, create and distribute high-quality content that enhances brand awareness, drives engagement and supports group objectives.

A full, clean UK driving licence is essential, as regular travel between our Sunderland HQ, Manchester, Newcastle, Brewery Field, customer sites and other locations will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture video content and supporting photography across multiple locations, including HQ, Manchester, Newcastle, Brewery Field, customer sites, events and meetings.
  • Assist with content planning and creation for Procure Smart's Instagram channels, with a focus on culture, employer branding and recruitment.
  • Support planning, creation and scheduling of social media content for Spennymoor Town FC (STFC).
  • Produce engaging long-form and short-form video content for social media, websites and other digital platforms.
  • Repurpose existing content into multiple formats and platform-specific edits to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Assist with content management and publishing across STFC digital channels.
  • Ensure all content is optimised for the requirements and best practices of each platform.
  • Monitor digital trends, emerging formats and audience behaviours to develop fresh and dynamic content ideas.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains high quality standards.
  • Provide general marketing support across both organisations.
  • Maintain organised media libraries, digital assets and content archives.
  • Support the delivery of special projects, campaigns and wider marketing initiatives.
  • Create a variety of content including:
    • Interviews
    • Behind-the-scenes footage
    • Promotional campaigns
    • Matchday content
    • Creative short-form videos

  • Photography and videography skills (predominantly phone-based but camera knowledge desirable).
  • Experience editing content for social media platforms (tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, Edits).
  • Creative mindset with a strong eye for visual storytelling.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects.
  • Understanding of social media trends and platform best practices.
  • Flexibility to attend events, matchdays and off-site content opportunities.
  • Passion for creating engaging digital content and building engaged online communities.
