Job Description
Are you a passionate culinary leader with experience driving food excellence across multiple locations? We are seeking an Executive Chef to provide strategic culinary leadership across six sites within our EMEA portfolio, setting the direction for food quality, innovation, customer experience, and operational performance. Working closely with the Director of Operations, you will inspire and develop Head Chefs and culinary teams, ensuring consistently exceptional standards while balancing regional consistency with local relevance.
This is a highly visible role requiring regular travel, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to deliver through others. You'll lead menu and concept development, champion food safety and compliance, drive commercial performance, and support key projects and site mobilisations. The successful candidate will bring significant multi-site culinary leadership experience, strong commercial awareness, and a track record of developing high-performing teams in a premium contract catering, workplace dining, or similar foodservice environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide senior culinary leadership across six EMEA locations, ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer experience.
- Lead, coach, and develop Head Chefs and senior culinary teams, building capability, engagement, and succession pipelines.
- Drive menu development and culinary innovation, using customer insight, market trends, and client requirements to enhance offer relevance.
- Monitor and improve operational performance, supporting participation, sales growth, food cost control, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Ensure all sites maintain excellent food safety, allergen management, hygiene, and compliance standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, operational leaders, and key stakeholders, representing the culinary function in reviews and presentations.
- Support major projects, new site mobilisations, and business growth opportunities across the region.
- Share best practice across locations, driving continuous improvement, consistency, and delivery of agreed business objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
