Job Purpose

Working closely with the Group Head of Film Booking, the Group Film Booking Manager is accountable for leading defined Group Film Booking workstreams across ODEON Cinemas Group (OCG), with a particular focus on targeted (Event and specialist) programming, and pre-show strategy. The role uses market insight, performance data and strong stakeholder relationships to shape commercially focused programming opportunities across Europe, supporting consistent decision-making and improved business outcomes.

Operating in a Group matrix environment, the role acts as a key connection point between country film teams, Group Partnerships and pan-regional targeted programming suppliers, ensuring Film’s commitments are clearly understood, well managed and delivered in line with Group priorities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead targeted programming opportunities across OCG markets, including Event Cinema, diaspora/FLC and specialist releases, ensuring activity is insight-led, commercially focused and aligned to Group priorities.
  • Own the development and delivery of Group-wide pre-show strategy, working with Group Partnerships and country teams to create a consistent, high-quality approach that supports guest experience and commercial outcomes.
  • Act as the senior Film Booking contact for Group Partnerships, ensuring Film commitments are clearly scoped, effectively prioritised and delivered through strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage key internal and external relationships, including country film teams and pan-regional suppliers, building alignment and resolving competing priorities through influence and clear communication.
  • Support delivery of Group Film Booking strategic workstreams, translating priorities from the Group Head of Film Booking into clear plans, actions and measurable outcomes.
  • Deputise for the Group Head of Film Booking where required, representing Film Booking in agreed Group forums, discussions or cross-functional projects.
  • Provide reporting, analysis and performance insight to support senior decision-making, and continuous improvement of Group Film Booking activity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
