Group Finance Accountant

Location: Remote | Occasional travel to Buckinghamshire

Salary: £55,000 - £63,000 + Bonus

A rapidly growing, acquisitive business is looking to appoint a Group Finance Accountant to join its expanding finance team. Having quadrupled in size over the last few years, the business continues to grow through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified finance professional to join a business where no two days are the same and where you'll gain exposure far beyond a traditional reporting role. Working closely with senior finance leaders, you'll play a key role in supporting Group reporting, consolidations, financial planning and business partnering activities across a diverse and evolving business.

The Role

This position offers a blend of:

  • 75% Group Reporting & Consolidation
  • 25% FP&A & Business Partnering

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the preparation of monthly Group consolidated accounts and board reporting packs
  • Managing financial reporting across multiple entities and subsidiaries
  • Producing accurate and timely management information within a fast-paced environment
  • Supporting annual budgets, forecasts and longer-term planning processes
  • Providing financial analysis and insights to support business decision making
  • Supporting acquisition accounting, integration activities and wider M&A projects
  • Contributing to process improvements and the development of a scalable finance function
  • Working with stakeholders across the business to drive commercial understanding and performance

About You

We're looking for a high-calibre finance professional who enjoys working at pace and thrives in a changing, growth-focused environment. You'll likely be:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Newly qualified or in the early stages of your post-qualified career
  • Trained within a Big 4, Top 10 or leading accountancy practice environment
  • Technically strong with exposure to financial reporting and consolidation
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to tight deadlines
  • Proactive, inquisitive and keen to make an impact
  • An effective communicator who can build relationships across the business
  • Excited by the opportunity to gain exposure to FP&A, business partnering and M&A activity
