Group Finance Analyst - £65,000 + Bonus - London / Hybrid
This FTSE listed real estate company is seeking to recruit a Senior Group Accountant to work in a team of eight, reporting to the group reporting manager. The role is focussed on half and full year statutory accounting and would suit someone with the following background:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in producing the consolidated group external reporting at half and full year end
- Acting as a key point of contact for the divisional finance teams across the company, and working with the external auditors from planning through to signing
- Ownership of key P&L and balance sheet accounts, using technical accounting knowledge around share-based payments, fair value accounting, pensions
- Assist the group reporting manager and head of reporting in ensuring a strong financial control environment
- Business partnering with divisional finance teams, communicating regularly and providing guidance around accounting policies and preparation of information for group submissions
- Collaborating with IT teams to improve and streamline reporting processes
- Always seeking improvement across processes and systems

- ACA / CA qualified with strong technical accounting skills
- Experience of large PLC audits
- Exposure to consolidated group accounts
