Group Finance Analyst

Based: Northwich
Salary: circa £70k + benefits including enhanced pension, private healthcare & Hybrid working

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Group Finance Analyst to join a growing, global business due to internal promotion. This role will provide support & insight across group finance, supporting the executive board. A varied analytical & project-orientated role including delivering financial process improvement, implementing group-wide systems, rolling out new reporting requirements and supporting group overall financial strategy.

Role:

  • Providing finance support to current consolidation system and other group-wide system initiatives as they are rolled out
  • Supporting Finance Director with FP&A activities including optimizing data and providing clear, insightful variance analysis
  • Identifying key drivers of performance and recommending actions, business partnering across various departments
  • Automating and supporting in preparation of main board financial update
  • Driving PowerBI across the business, creating dashboards and manipulating data to improve accuracy in financial planning & reporting
  • Creating processes to track, analyse and report in business performance at group and business unit level
  • Managing implementation of group pricing changes, creating models to forecast future pricing trends and implications to company financials
  • Taking ownership of financial management of group including overseeing day to day accounting activities, month end and forecasting
  • Taking ownership of PowerBI processes and continued improvement

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a senior finance leadership role
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience partnering with operational and commercial teams and within FP&A
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience managing management accounts.
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing/stock based business would be advantageous but not essential.
  • PowerBI experience essential including creating of dashboards
  • Group finance experience desirable but not essential
