We're looking for a commercially minded Group Finance Business Partner to join our global finance team and help drive strong financial performance across a diverse portfolio of projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our centralised global project finance capability, partnering with project and regional teams to provide specialist financial expertise on complex, high-value and strategically important projects. You'll play a key role in strengthening financial governance, improving project performance and driving consistency in project finance practices across our global business.
About The Role
As a trusted finance partner, you'll work closely with project leaders and regional finance teams to provide insight, challenge and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Supporting project teams with forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis.
- Delivering clear financial insights that enable informed business decisions.
- Monitoring project performance through variance analysis, cost tracking and cash flow management.
- Advising project teams on financial risks, opportunities and performance drivers.
- Reinforcing financial governance and ensuring compliance with Group policies and controls.
- Supporting project audits and revenue recognition reviews.
- Providing specialist finance support on complex or strategically important projects across multiple regions.
- Building strong relationships with project leaders and finance stakeholders globally.
- Helping drive consistency and best practice in project finance, reporting and financial management.
- Supporting the implementation of finance systems, policies and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You
We're seeking an experienced finance professional who is confident operating in a collaborative, global environment and enjoys building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
You'll Ideally Have
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA finalist status, or be fully qualified.
- Previous experience in project finance, commercial finance or finance business partnering.
- Experience supporting complex projects, ideally within professional services, engineering, consultancy or construction-related environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across a matrix organisation.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
- A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
We'd also welcome
- Experience within engineering, construction or professional services sectors.
- Knowledge of Agresso and/or Deltek Vantagepoint.
- Experience contributing to process improvement and standardisation initiatives.
