Group Financial Director

Location

London (Hybrid)

Salary

£160,000–£180,000

Company

PE-Backed Business Services Group

The Opportunity

Following a significant investment from a leading mid-market private equity investor, the business has embarked on an ambitious buy-and-build strategy, with multiple acquisitions planned over the next 24–36 months. As the Group continues to scale, the CFO is looking to appoint a commercially minded Group Financial Director to establish a best-in-class group finance function capable of supporting rapid growth and integration.

This is a newly created position and will play a pivotal role in shaping the finance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust group reporting framework, leading group consolidations, improving financial controls and ensuring the finance function can support an increasingly complex multi-entity environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
