Group Finance Director
Procurement
Renumeration: £180–200k + bonus
Location: London – 2 days per week

Finatal has partnered with a £700m turnover, private equity-backed procurement business based in central London. As the business continues its growth and professionalisation journey, the CFO is seeking a trusted finance partner to lead the global finance function and help drive operational excellence.
This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for a sizeable international team. The successful candidate will combine strong technical finance expertise with proven leadership skills, gravitas, and the ability to influence at Executive and Board level.

We're looking to speak with experienced Group Financial Controllers or Group Finance Directors from large, private equity-backed businesses with exposure to physical goods, supply chain, or strategic sourcing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global financial reporting, month-end close, statutory accounts, and external audit.
- Oversee balance sheet integrity, treasury, cash flow, tax, and financial controls.
- Drive finance transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and strengthen finance governance, controls, and risk management frameworks.
- Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to provide strategic financial insight.
- Lead and develop international finance and shared service teams.
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, advisors, and regulatory bodies.

Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Significant senior finance leadership experience within a complex international business.
- Strong technical expertise across financial reporting, controls, treasury, tax, and audit.
- Proven track record of delivering finance transformation and systems improvement.
- Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary international finance teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with credibility at Executive and Board level.
