Location: Doncaster

Salary: £42,000 - £49,000 per annum

Vacancy Type: Full-Time

The company are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Group Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day finance function across their growing hotel group.

Working closely with senior management and supported by a Finance Assistant, you will take ownership of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
  • Monitor performance against budget and investigate variances.
  • Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Review and support the work of the Finance Assistant.
  • Oversee payroll reconciliation and financial controls.
  • Monitor departmental costs, margins, and profitability.
  • Manage VAT returns and support year-end accounts and audit.
  • Maintain strong financial processes and controls across the group.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing use of Sage Intacct and integration with Opera PMS.
  • Provide financial analysis and commercial support to senior management.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or similar.
  • Strong management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting experience.
  • Excellent Excel and financial systems skills.
  • Comfortable working across multiple businesses or locations.
  • Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
  • Hospitality or multi-site experience would be advantageous.
  • ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified/part-qualified, or strong relevant experience.
