Group Finance Manager
6-Month Fixed-Term Contract - London - Hybrid Working
An established international business is seeking a Group Finance Manager to join its finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a broad and hands-on role with responsibility for group reporting, audit management, statutory accounts, and team leadership.
This opportunity would suit a technically strong qualified accountant who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment and partnering with stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close and group reporting process, including performance analysis against budget and prior year
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for the wider group
- Prepare statutory accounts for multiple entities, including supporting tax disclosures
- Act as the key point of contact for both internal and external auditors, coordinating interim and year-end audit processes
- Support tax compliance activities and liaise with external tax advisers
- Oversee core finance operations, including balance sheet reconciliations, treasury, payroll, and payment approvals
- Drive process improvement initiatives, control reviews, and finance-related projects
- Manage and develop a small finance team
- Respond to stakeholder queries and provide ad hoc support across the finance function

About You
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualified accountant
- Trained within a leading accountancy practice, ideally Big 4
- Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, and audit experience
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Confident communicator with experience managing internal and external stakeholders
- Previous people management experience advantageous
- Experience working within a multi-entity or international environment would be beneficial
