Group Finance Manager

6-Month Fixed-Term Contract - London - Hybrid Working

An established international business is seeking a Group Finance Manager to join its finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a broad and hands-on role with responsibility for group reporting, audit management, statutory accounts, and team leadership.

This opportunity would suit a technically strong qualified accountant who enjoys operating in a fast-paced environment and partnering with stakeholders across the business.

  • Lead the month-end close and group reporting process, including performance analysis against budget and prior year
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for the wider group
  • Prepare statutory accounts for multiple entities, including supporting tax disclosures
  • Act as the key point of contact for both internal and external auditors, coordinating interim and year-end audit processes
  • Support tax compliance activities and liaise with external tax advisers
  • Oversee core finance operations, including balance sheet reconciliations, treasury, payroll, and payment approvals
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, control reviews, and finance-related projects
  • Manage and develop a small finance team
  • Respond to stakeholder queries and provide ad hoc support across the finance function

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
