Group Finance Manager

An international market leading organisation within the professional services sector is hiring a Group Finance Manager on a fixed term contract basis. The business has operations across multiple regions worldwide. This is a highly visible role within Group Finance, offering exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to help drive reporting excellence across a complex, multi-entity business.
Role & responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of External Reporting, you will take ownership of key Group Reporting activities, including:
- Leading the month-end consolidation and management reporting process across a multi-currency group
- Preparing Group and statutory financial statements in line with IFRS and UK GAAP
- Writing and reviewing technical accounting papers on complex accounting matters
- Managing external audit relationships and year-end reporting deliverables
- Driving improvements to reporting processes, controls, and consolidation activities
- Supporting accounting policy, new standard implementation, and reporting requirements
- Managing and developing a small team while partnering with senior finance stakeholders across the business

What's required
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualified accountant with audit training
- Strong Group Reporting and consolidation experience within a large, international organisation
- Experience preparing Group financial statements
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and UK GAAP
- Experience writing technical accounting papers
- Multi-currency reporting and complex group structure exposure
- Previous team management, review, and coaching experience
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business
- Available on short notice preferably as this is a fixed term contract assignment for 12 months +
