Join us at a defining point in our story

Few opportunities exist to join a business at a moment like this.

Totalmobile has grown from its Belfast roots to become a major player in Field Service Management software. We've grown through organic expansion, investment, and strategic acquisitions, and we're taking our technology into new sectors and international markets.

And we’re not standing still.

In February 2026, Totalmobile and Solvares Group announced their merger, bringing together two market-leading Field Service Management businesses. The combined organisation now has more than 800 people supporting over 4,000 customers across Europe, the UK, Australia, and Canada, creating one of the most comprehensive international providers of field service and workforce optimisation technology.

Against that backdrop, our Finance function is evolving too.

We’re strengthening the team, improving the way we work and creating the financial infrastructure needed to support a larger, more complex international business. That’s where you come in.

The opportunity

We’re looking for a Group Finance Manager to join our Belfast Finance team and work closely with our Financial Controller.

This isn't a role where you'll simply review numbers produced by somebody else. You'll be close to the detail and encouraged to make things better.

You’ll take ownership of month-end activities across a number of our group and holding companies, support consolidated reporting and help us strengthen the processes and controls behind an increasingly complex group structure.

As you build your knowledge of the business, you'll become a trusted member of the team and a key support to the Financial Controller, helping create greater depth and resilience across Group Finance.

What will you be doing?

You’ll have a broad remit, including:

  • Taking hands-on ownership of month-end activities across a number of group entities.
  • Preparing and reviewing management accounts, journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Supporting group consolidation and financial reporting.
  • Helping strengthen financial controls and audit trails as the business continues to scale.
  • Supporting cash flow and working capital reporting.
  • Working alongside FP&A and other areas of the business to improve financial visibility.
  • Supporting annual audit requirements and responding to audit queries.
  • Looking at established processes and looking for improvements.
  • Helping reduce manual processes and improve some of our existing spreadsheet-based reporting.
  • Contributing to future finance systems and transformation projects.
  • Over time, taking greater oversight of payroll controls, reporting and reconciliations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Payroll experience would be helpful, but we are not looking for someone to sit and process payroll. The focus will be on financial oversight, controls and ensuring payroll information is appropriately reflected in reporting.

What are we looking for?

First and foremost, we're looking for a strong, hands-on accountant who enjoys getting under the bonnet of a business.

Ideally, you'll bring:

  • An ACA or ACCA qualification.
  • A strong grounding in technical accounting and financial controls.
  • Hands-on experience running month-end within an industry environment.
  • Experience with management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Exposure to group or multi-entity accounting.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP/finance systems.
  • A track record of spotting inefficient processes and doing something about them.
  • The confidence to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

A Big Four or other leading accountancy practice background followed by experience in industry would be particularly attractive.

Experience within SaaS, technology, private equity or another fast-growing business would also be advantageous, but it isn't about ticking every box.

The type of person who will thrive here

We want someone pragmatic and curious. Someone prepared to get into the detail, understand why something works the way it does and then help us improve it.

You might currently be a Finance Manager, Group Accountant or Financial Accountant within a smaller PE-backed or high-growth business where you've had the opportunity to wear several hats. Equally, you may have trained in practice before moving into industry and now be looking for broader ownership and greater exposure.

Why Totalmobile?

Totalmobile has been on a significant growth journey, with acquisitions playing an important role in broadening our technology and reach. As far back as 2019, acquisitions were being used to add new capabilities, sectors and scale to the Group.

More recently, we've expanded internationally and invested further in our Field First platform. In 2025, Totalmobile reported supporting more than 900 customers and 500,000 field workers across sectors including health and social care, government, property and FM, commercial and infrastructure.

Now, our combination with Solvares represents another major step forward, creating a larger international organisation with more than 800 colleagues and 4,000 customers.

For someone joining Finance, that creates something particularly interesting: the opportunity to help build what comes next.

At Totalmobile, we want our employees to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work. We are committed to an inclusive workforce that fully represents many different cultures, backgrounds and viewpoints. We are dedicated to supporting inclusion and diversity at Totalmobile. We actively celebrate colleagues’ different abilities, sexual orientation, ethnicity, faith, and gender. Everyone is welcome and supported in their development at all stages in their journey with us.
