Sheffield Head Office | Full-Time | £40m Group Turnover | 6 Legal Entities

Lead Finance. Drive Growth. Shape the Future. We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Group Finance Manager to join our growing business at an exciting stage of its journey. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of the finance function across six legal entities, ensuring robust financial control, high-quality reporting, effective cash management and scalable processes that support continued growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys combining hands-on financial leadership with strategic business partnering. You'll play a key role in improving systems and processes, supporting acquisitions, developing a talented finance team and providing financial insight that helps drive business performance.

The Opportunity

As Group Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting across the group, whilst ensuring strong governance, balance sheet integrity and effective risk management. You will act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders, helping shape decisions through commercial analysis and financial insight. Beyond the day-to-day financial management, you'll contribute to acquisition and integration projects, support the transition from Xero to Sage X3, and champion continuous improvement across finance systems, controls and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete ownership of balance sheet integrity across the group.
  • Review, challenge and approve reconciliations.
  • Resolve legacy and reconciling items.
  • Ensure audit-ready records and supporting documentation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
