Fast Growth, PE Backed, Tech-Enabled Business - Group Finance Manager
Circa £80,000 + Benefits + Bonus (Hertfordshire) - Office Based
Our client is a well-established and growing PE backed business with revenues of £100m+. The business is seeking to appoint a Group Finance Manager into a broad and highly visible role. Overseeing day-to-day finance operations, the successful candidate will ensure the delivery of timely and accurate reporting and accounting, manage cash flow and treasury operations, and oversee a small transactional accounting team covering AP, AR and Payroll.
Given the fast growth nature of the business, excellent opportunities for progression exist for the successful candidate.

- Take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring robust financial controls, effective processes, and accurate financial reporting whilst managing a small team.
- Oversee all transactional finance activities, including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity, and working capital to support the ongoing needs of the business.
- Build and maintain relationships with external accountants, auditors, tax advisers, and other key professional stakeholders.
- Ensure all statutory, regulatory, and compliance obligations are met accurately and in a timely manner.
- Identify and implement process improvements, financial controls, and operational efficiencies across both finance and the wider business.
- Support strategic initiatives, business projects, and ad hoc analysis as required by the CFO and senior leadership team.

The Candidate
Our client is seeking a high calibre qualified accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA or Equivalent) with strong technical accounting capabilities gained in another Financial Accounting / Reporting role, or someone who is seeking their first step from practice into industry. Most importantly you will be a self-starter with excellent communication and leadership skills, strong project management skills, and a clear ability to pick things up quickly.
