Group Finance Manager - EMEA
A global multi-strategy hedge fund managing over $30bn is adding a Group Finance Manager in London. The role has come about after significant growth in AuM, meaning they are adding additional headcount for the EMEA team.
Role Overview
Reporting to the UK CFO, you'll take full ownership of the EMEA management company entities, running the monthly close and consolidation into group, producing statutory accounts under IFRS and taking them through audit, and covering FCA returns, VAT, corporation tax and transfer pricing. The cross-border structure means intercompany and recharge work is a core part of the role. Cash, treasury and cost allocation back to the PM teams sit with this, alongside a real build agenda covering entity rationalisation, Workday and automating the close.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
