Your new company
An AIM listed Oil & Gas producer with assets on 2 continents. The company has a mix of production and exploration assets, some fully owned and some partially owned through a Joint Venture structure. The business has been in operation for over 30 years and after bringing online a new asset will see significant growth in the next 5 years.
Your new role
Reporting to the Group FD, this role will take ownership of all Financial and JV reporting for the listed group, including audits and statutory accounting. The role will also have commercial exposure to budgets and forecasts.
Duties include:
- Production of year-end, half year and quarterly financial statements
- Joint venture accounting and JV budgets
- Ownership of audit process including audit liaison with Big 4 firm
- Preparation and filing of UK VAT returns

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant ideally with listed Oil & Gas or engineering industry experience. The desire to progress your career in an international oil and gas business will be essential, as the company have ambitious plans for this role.
