📍 Location: Altrincham, Greater Manchester | Hybrid: 2 days in office per week

About the Opportunity
Are you a qualified finance professional who enjoys turning financial data into meaningful insight? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Group Management Accountant to join our Group Finance team and play a key role in monthly reporting, consolidation, variance analysis, audit support, and continuous improvement across an international finance environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare and consolidate monthly group reporting packs across multiple entities.
- Analyse actual results against budgets and forecasts, investigating and explaining key variances.
- Support balance sheet reconciliations, controls, and reporting improvements.
- Partner with international finance teams to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent reporting.
- Support statutory audit and tax processes, including schedules, queries, and group consolidation adjustments.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting files, systems, and financial controls.
- Provide financial insight and respond to ad hoc queries from senior stakeholders, internal teams, and external advisers.

What We’re Looking For
Essential experience and skills:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in financial accounting, management accounting, or group reporting.
- Qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain financial performance clearly.
- Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with financial reporting systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Nice to have:
- Experience working with international teams or in a group reporting environment.
- Experience supporting audits and year-end processes.
- Exposure to business transformation projects.
- Knowledge of cashflow forecasting and treasury principles.
