Group Financial Accountant
Location: Hampshire / Hybrid Working
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically strong Group Financial Accountant to join a growing international business operating within a fast-paced, acquisitive environment. This role is ideally suited to a newly qualified ACA or ACCA accountant looking to make their first or second move from practice into industry, offering broad exposure to group reporting, consolidations, statutory accounting, and technical finance projects.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of monthly group consolidations under IFRS, including multi-currency reporting and intercompany reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly close activities and management reporting packs.
- Support statutory reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Assist with external audit processes, tax and VAT reporting requirements.
- Partner with finance teams across the business to support reporting submissions and resolve technical accounting queries.
- Support ongoing improvements to financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks.
- Assist with acquisition accounting and post-acquisition integration activities.
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and project work for senior finance stakeholders.

Requirements
- Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
- Practice-trained background, ideally from a Top 20 firm.
- Strong grounding in IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Experience auditing multi-entity groups and consolidated financial statements.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial analysis capability.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work across multiple stakeholders and finance teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and keen to develop within a growing business environment.
