This growing non-profit organisation, based in Central London, is looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller as part of its continued growth.

Role

As Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role within the global finance function, reporting directly to the CFO and leading a team of 6 direct reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the global finance function.
  • Leading the group consolidation process across multiple international entities.
  • Maintaining and strengthening financial controls, governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Overseeing treasury activities and cash management.
  • Managing the external audit process and ensuring strong audit and governance standards.
  • Leading finance transformation initiatives to improve processes, systems and efficiency.
  • Driving continuous improvement across the global finance function.
  • Acting as a trusted business partner to the Board, CFO, senior leadership team and wider internal stakeholders.
  • Providing clear financial insight and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Profile:

The successful candidate will be a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with strong technical finance and leadership experience.

You will have:

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and business partnering skills.
  • The ability to simplify complex financial issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Experience leading and developing finance teams.
  • A proactive approach to process improvement and finance transformation.
  • Experience working across multiple entities and/or international environments would be advantageous.

This role is based in Central London and operates under a hybrid working policy.
